Ligonziana (Nino Ippolito) symphonic march

Ligonziana is one of the most famous marches for all the complex band and also one of the most beautiful.

This march symphony was composed by maestro Nino Ippolito devoted to teacher Ligonzo Gioacchino (1910 - 1992) Director of many great bands Pugliesi. This recording is performed by all bands "Itria Harmonies" in Martina Franca during the festivities of Our Lady of Health.

Rizzola Luigi (1877-1969) Born in Turin makes studying violin, piano, harmony and counterpoint in the conservatory of his city. He began the work of young music director and musician in Italy and abroad. From 1936 to 1940 he directed the municipal band Paisiello of Taranto after the war and until 1953 he directed the band S. Cecilia which subsequently resumed the name of G. Paisiello.

Tribute to Gioia del maestro Gino Bello (Muro Leccese, 1 January 1932 - Castiglione di Lecce, 28 July 1989) composed in honor of the omonimus apulia's town of "Gioia del Colle" where he directed for years, the city's band.
